Total Time: 25 min.
servings 8
Ingredients
taco seasoning 2Tbsp
ground beef 1kg
1-1/2 cups water
pinto beans,(15 ounces) rinsed and drained
mild chili beans,(16 ounces) undrained
whole kernel corn,(15-1/4 ounces) drained
stewed tomatoes(14-1/2 ounces)
diced tomato with green chiles(10 ounces)
chopped green chiles,(4 ounces) optional
1cup ranch salad dressing mix
Method.
To make the taco soup, start by cooking the beef over medium heat until it's no longer pink. As you cook it, break the beef into crumbles. Once cooked, drain any excess fat. Next, add the taco seasoning to the beef and mix it well, ensuring that the seasoning is evenly distributed.
After the beef is seasoned, it's time to add the remaining ingredients. Stir them into the beef mixture until everything is combined. Once everything is mixed, bring the mixture to a boil. Once it reaches a boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer uncovered for about 15 minutes, or until the soup is heated through. Remember to stir occasionally during the simmering process.
By following these steps, you'll have a flavorful taco soup ready to be enjoyed!
